Notary Records for Campiglione
Located 25 miles southwest of Torino, The Campiglione-Fenile community occupies slightly over 4 square miles and contained 1,385 people as of 2010.
Unlike most other Waldensian communities that were located in the foothills and mountains, Campiglione was located on the plain. This had the advantage making life easier for farming but unfortunately put the Waldensians closer to their Catholic neighbors. They were frequently driven from their homes to seek refuge in the mountains.
